UP Special TET 2026 is intended for eligible in-service teachers and eligible Special Educators (CWSN) covered by the official notification. Candidates should select the Primary or Upper Primary level according to their current service and applicable eligibility conditions.

Regular in-service teachers may be required to provide their applicable service / eHRMS details, while eligible Special Educators should keep their applicable CRR number and RCI registration details ready.

• Regular In-Service Teachers: As per applicable service rules / notification conditions
• Applicable Contract / Daily-Wage Special Educators (CWSN): Maximum 60 Years
• Applicable Age Reference Date: 03 November 2026

Candidates should check the official notification carefully for the age condition applicable to their service category before submitting the application.

UP Special TET 2026 is a Teacher Eligibility Test and not a direct recruitment examination. Therefore, no recruitment vacancy count should be treated as the number of posts under this examination.

Eligible candidates can submit the UP Special TET 2026 Online Form through the official UPESSC portal from 05 September 2026 to 04 October 2026. One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory before submitting the application.

1. Visit the official Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission website.
2. Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process if you have not already registered.
3. Login through your OTR details and open the UP Special TET 2026 application form.
4. Select the applicable Primary Level or Upper Primary Level examination.
5. Enter the required personal, educational and service details carefully.
6. Enter the applicable eHRMS / CRR / RCI details wherever required.
7. Upload the required photograph, signature and supporting documents in the prescribed format.
8. Pay the applicable examination fee through the available online payment mode.
9. Preview the complete application form carefully before final submission.
10. Submit the application on or before 04 October 2026 and keep a printout of the final application for future reference.

UP Special TET 2026 is a qualifying Teacher Eligibility Test. Candidates have to appear in the applicable Primary Level or Upper Primary Level paper and obtain the prescribed qualifying marks. Qualifying the Special TET does not by itself constitute appointment to a teaching post.

Qualifying Process

Candidates must obtain the qualifying marks prescribed for their applicable category. After the examination, UPESSC will release the answer key and result according to the official schedule.

UP Special TET is an eligibility examination. Passing the examination establishes the applicable teacher eligibility status under the prescribed rules, but it does not automatically guarantee appointment to any teaching post.
