Candidates must have passed the High School (Class 10th) examination from a recognized board or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is conducting the UP Home Guard Enrollment 2025 for a total of 41,424 Home Guard vacancies across Uttar Pradesh.

Candidates can download the UP Home Guard DV/PST or PET Admit Card through the official UPPRPB website according to the applicable stage of the recruitment process.

1. Visit the official Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board website.
2. Open the notice related to UP Home Guard Enrollment 2025.
3. Click on the applicable DV/PST Admit Card or PET Admit Card download link.
4. Enter the required candidate login details.
5. Submit the details to open the admit card.
6. Check the physical test date, reporting time, examination centre and instructions carefully.
7. Download and print the admit card for the physical test.

Candidates appearing in the revised PET must download the new PET Admit Card scheduled to be released on 07 September 2026. The PET admit cards issued for the earlier dates will not be valid for the revised schedule.

Candidates are advised to check the official UPPRPB website as well as Sarkari Mauka regularly for the latest UP Home Guard PET Admit Card, revised physical test schedule, result and further selection updates.

The UP Home Guard Enrollment 2025 selection process includes a written examination followed by Document Verification, Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test. Candidates must qualify the applicable stages to remain eligible for further selection.

Written Examination

Document Verification and Physical Standard Test (DV/PST)

Candidates shortlisted after the written examination are required to appear for document verification and the prescribed Physical Standard Test. During PST, the applicable height, chest and weight standards are checked according to the candidate's category and gender.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The PET is qualifying in nature. Candidates must complete the prescribed running distance within the specified time to qualify this stage.

Latest PET Update

The UP Home Guard PET was earlier proposed to start from 08 September 2026. Due to continuous rainfall in Uttar Pradesh, UPPRPB has revised the schedule and the Physical Efficiency Test will now start from 14 September 2026.

The revised PET Admit Card will be uploaded on 07 September 2026. Candidates must download the revised admit card because the admit cards issued for the earlier PET dates will not be valid for the revised examination schedule.
