Educational Qualification

Candidates were required to have passed the Intermediate (Class 12) examination from a recognised board or possess an equivalent qualification accepted under the recruitment rules.

The educational qualification had to be completed by the prescribed eligibility date mentioned in the recruitment notification. Candidates reaching the current PET stage have already passed through the written-examination shortlisting and DV/PST process.

• Additional category-wise age relaxation is applicable as per UP Police recruitment rules.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

PET is qualifying in nature. Candidates must complete the prescribed run within the applicable time limit to remain in the recruitment process.

The PET admit card is meant for candidates who have cleared the stages required before the Physical Efficiency Test. Download it before travelling to the test centre, as the card carries the candidate's actual PET date, reporting time and venue.

Download Process

1. Open the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board website.
2. Find the notice for Constable Civil Police and Equivalent Posts Direct Recruitment-2025.
3. Open the PET Admit Card download link released on 24 September 2026.
4. Enter the required candidate login details.
5. Submit the details and open the PET admit card.
6. Check your name, roll number, PET date, reporting time and test centre carefully.
7. Download the admit card and take a clear printout for the PET day.

Do not rely only on the general PET start date. Your own reporting schedule is the one printed on the admit card, so read the instructions on it before leaving for the centre.

The written examination is complete, and candidates who cleared it moved through document verification and physical-standard checking. The recruitment has now reached the running test, making PET the stage candidates need to focus on at present.

Current Stage – PET

PET does not add another written-paper score. A candidate has to complete the prescribed run within the qualifying time. Failing the required physical-efficiency standard ends the candidate's progression in this recruitment.

After completion of the remaining prescribed checks, UPPRPB will proceed towards the final selection result for the advertised 32,679 posts.
