IBPS PO / MT-XVI Pre Result 2026 โ Probationary Officer 16th Recruitment
๐ Short Information
IBPS PO/MT-XVI candidates are now waiting for the result of the preliminary examination held on 22 and 23 August 2026. The official recruitment calendar places the prelims result in September, with the Main Examination already scheduled for 04 October 2026. One detail worth noting is that the vacancy count has changed since applications opened. The recruitment initially carried 6,715 indicative vacancies, while IBPS later issued updated vacancy statements on 20 July and again on 27 August. Candidates who clear the preliminary examination will move to the mains stage; prelims marks themselves are not the final basis for allotment. As of 23 September 2026, the PO/MT-XVI section of the IBPS website does not yet show the preliminary result link. This page should therefore be updated to โResult Declaredโ only after IBPS activates the result officially.
