EMRS Tier-II Result 2026
📌 Short Information
National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) is conducting the EMRS Staff Selection Examination (ESSE) 2025 for 7,267 Teaching and Non-Teaching posts in Eklavya Model Residential Schools. The recruitment includes Principal, PGT, TGT, Female Staff Nurse, Hostel Warden, Accountant, Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Lab Attendant posts. The ESSE 2025 Tier-I examination was held on 13, 14 and 21 December 2025. NESTS declared the Tier-I Result and released the post/category-wise cutoff marks on 31 January 2026. Candidates shortlisted through Tier-I appeared in the Tier-II examination held from 22 to 25 March 2026. NESTS has now started releasing the Tier-II results post-wise. The Tier-II Result for Principal was released on 03 September 2026, while the JSA Tier-II Result was released on 05 September 2026. Tier-II results for the remaining posts should not be treated as declared until officially released by NESTS. ✅ Selection Process
EMRS Staff Selection Examination 2025 follows a two-tier examination system. The further selection stage depends on the post applied for.
Tier-I Examination
Tier-I was conducted in OMR-based MCQ mode on 13, 14 and 21 December 2025. The Tier-I result and cutoff marks for shortlisting candidates to Tier-II were released on 31 January 2026.
Tier-II Examination
Candidates shortlisted through Tier-I appeared in Tier-II. Tier-II consisted of MCQ and descriptive components as applicable to the respective post. The examinations were conducted from 22 to 25 March 2026.

Principal Selection Process
Candidates are shortlisted for interview on the basis of Tier-II performance. Final selection for Principal is prepared by considering Tier-II and Interview performance in the prescribed 80:20 weightage.
JSA Selection Process
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of Tier-II performance are required to qualify the prescribed skill / typing test. The skill test is qualifying in nature, and final merit is based on Tier-II performance among candidates who qualify the skill test.
Other Posts
For posts other than Principal and JSA, final result / merit is prepared according to the selection scheme prescribed in the ESSE-2025 notification and the applicable Tier-II performance.
